Former PlantashunBoiz member, Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, AKA Blackface has accused Asake of song theft.
The singer claimed to be the owner of ‘Joha’, stating that he didn’t grant permission for a remix to be made.
“Joha” the seventh smash track off Asake’s debut album “Mr Money with the Vibes’ was released on September 8, 2022 and Its official video released on October 6, 2022, was shot by popular music video director and cinematographer, TG Omori.
Blackface’s accusation surfaced after Omori in a bid to silence a troll who claimed the value of his works didn’t equate his high fees, revealed the cost of shooting ‘Joha’ video.
‘TG Omori doesn’t have one video that warrants his price to be $50k, the critic wrote.
“‘Joha’ video is about $165k. Crying?” Omori retorted.

“E better make una do the right thing because this one I no go sorry for una! I dey come!”
This isn’t the first time the 49-year-old ‘Ghettochild’ singer would be accusing his colleagues of song theft.
