As part of activities commemorating the 51st Anniversary of the establishment of bilateral ties between China and Nigeria and to better display the cooperative results and close relationship between the two countries, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Nigeria is organizing the “China-Nigeria Harmony & Symphony” Short Video Contest.
According to a statement from the organizers, all entries should be sent to abuja@chinaculture.orgn before September 18, 2022.

1. Participants/Competitors
The contest is open to all Nigerian nationals, including students from local universities and secondary schools and Chinese nationals living and working in Nigeria for more than 3 months. Participation is free for all.
2. Submission Requirements
-The works require originality. The video that you submit must be made by yourself. All legal issues concerning the copyright, reputation right or other related issues shall be the responsibility of the video-maker.
-The length of the video should be within 5 minutes. The themes must be healthy, positive and helpful in building a good relationship between China and Nigeria.
-All entries should be sent to this email address: abuja@chinaculture.org before September 18, 2022. Once you have submitted the videos, the Organizing Committee of the Short Video Contest will own the rights to use them.
3. Awards
-The Contest will generate 1 special prize, 2 first prizes, 3-second prizes, and 5 third prizes. Each winner is not allowed to receive repeated awards and only receives the highest award among his awarded works.
-Laptop computers, Huawei smartphones and Bluetooth speakers (or cash of equal value) will be presented as special, first, second and third prizes respectively to all winners at the Awarding Ceremony of the Short Video Contest in late September 2022.
-The Organizing Committee will also present beautiful souvenirs for those who are not so lucky to become the winners of the contest.
