Millions of users were left stranded after the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter crashed on Thursday afternoon.
Nigeria Today gathered that the social media platform did not load feeds, searches, messages and trending topics as of 1:15 pm.
The platform has at least 450 million active users and is a major platform for information dissemination and commerce.
Checks by this newspaper indicate that the platform is now fully back online.
This is the first major Twitter outage since it went down twice in February.
