Otunba Segun Runsewe, Director General of the National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), also the President of the World Crafts Council for African Region, declared open“2022 International Arts & Crafts Expo” (INAC) on August 18, 2022.
With the theme“Networking Nigerian Crafts to the World”, this year’s INAC attract 8 states in Nigeria and 25 countries including China, India, Malaysia, Iran, Spain, Cuba, etc…
At the opening ceremony, Otunba Runsewe said that the aim of the expo is to better project Nigerian crafts to various countries of the world given that our stories are better told by us. It is also to promote cultural exchange programmes and improve inter-country collaborations in music, arts, drama, etc.
According to its programme, 2022 INAC will last 3 days day from August since it started on August 18. In the afternoon of August 20, there will be fabulous cultural performances and presentations of awards during the closing ceremony.
