SANY Nigeria Limited, a leading Chinese heavy equipment manufacturing company has highlighted affordability, durability, efficiency and quality of service as reasons why their products are the most patronized in Nigeria.
Service Manager, Afeez Salaudeen made this known during a media parley at Sany’s head office in Abuja on Wednesday.
Mr Afeez stated that the company which recorded $14.2bn worth of sales in 2019 is currently the leading supplier of concrete machinery in the world.
His words, “Sany products have been doing very well in Nigeria. In 2019, we have sales of $14.2bn in Sany equipment globally. This is largely due to the quality, rate and durability of our machinery compared to others. Sany recently took over from Caterpillar as the global supplier of concrete machinery in the world. Sany is the second largest supplier of excavators in Africa and the largest supplier in America, China and Europe.
“The durability of our products allows customers to patronize us more. We have long-term customers that still patronize our latest product model. If our products have not been serving them well, they would have patronized our competitors instead. They are still doing business with us because of the durability of our products. This year alone, more than 300 units of our products have been sold in Nigeria.”
Mr Afeez stated that Sany has contributed to the Nigerian economy positively through the investment of over $2.3 billion, employment and human capital development since coming on board in 2000.
