In light of the planned protests across the country, Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, PhD, President of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), has called on the business community in Abuja to exercise vigilance and adhere strictly to the law.
As the leading voice of the organised private sector in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), ACCI is committed to closely monitoring the situation and providing daily advisories to ensure the safety and security of businesses and investments.
“We urge all members of the business community to remain vigilant and law-abiding during this period. It is crucial to stay informed and prepared to ensure the safety of your establishments, employees, and customers,” he emphasised,
He further noted that the ACCI is dedicated to supporting its members and will publish daily advisories to provide timely updates and guidance while also calling upon the police and other security agencies to take all necessary measures to protect businesses and investments in the FCT.
Chief Obegolu, SAN, PhD, the leader of the organised private sector in the FCT underscored the importance of maintaining peace and order, highlighting the sanctity of human life and the need to safeguard lives and properties.
