The Tourism Volunteers Network has congratulated His Excellency, Ambassador Yu Dunhai, on his appointment as the 15th Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, August 13, by Phil Roberts, Executive Director of the Tourism Volunteers Network, the organization emphasized the vital role tourism plays in enhancing international relationships.
“The role of tourism in strengthening bilateral relations cannot be overstated. We believe that by showcasing Nigeria’s diverse attractions, we can foster deeper connections between our nations,” Roberts said.

The Network expressed its eagerness to collaborate closely with Ambassador Yu to elevate Sino-Nigerian relations and promote sustainable tourism development. The organization extended its best wishes to Ambassador Yu as he embarks on this significant diplomatic mission.
The Tourism Volunteers Network, a non-governmental organization committed to advancing tourism development in Nigeria, aims to work alongside the Chinese embassy to highlight Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potential to the Chinese community.
The organization also acknowledged the contributions of Li Xuda, the Cultural Councillor of the Chinese Embassy, praising his instrumental role in promoting cultural exchange.
“Mr. Li’s tireless work has greatly supported our initiatives, and we are thankful for his dedication to fostering cooperation between our countries,” the statement added.
