The Lagos State Police Command has said that the domestic staff at Davido’s home have been taken to the station to give their own account of the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of the popular music artiste, and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that details of the circumstances surrounding Ifeanyi’s death were still sketchy as of the time of publishing this report. However, unconfirmed reports indicated that it that Davido’s first son drowned in a swimming pool at his residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
Although the victim’s family had yet to react to the tragic development, Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State police command’s spokesman, stated that they are investigating the incident.
“Domestic staff at Davido’s home have been taken to the station to give their own account of what happened. I wouldn’t call that arrest yet.
“If after they all give their own account of what happened and after preliminary investigations, if anyone of them is found culpable, the person will now be placed under arrest,” Daily Post quotes Hundeyin as saying.
