NUC grants licence for Osun College of Education’s upgrading to varsity

The National Universities Commission (NUC) yesterday handed over to the Osun State Government, operational licence for the upgrading of Osun State College of Education, Ilesa, to a full-fledged university.

It said with the upgrade, the former college of education will now be called University of Ilesa, making it the 220th university in Nigeria.
