Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, says the Red Line Rail project covering Agbado to Otto is ready for commissioning.
The governor made this disclosure during his visit to the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) in Beijing, China on Thursday.
Sanwo-olu said the project which will be commissioned by President Bola Tinubu in a few weeks will bring relief for commuters and enhance transportation for millions of Lagos residents.
The governor expressed his delight at reaching this significant milestone, emphasizing his commitment to improving transportation for the people of Lagos.
Governor Sanwo-Olu reiterated the dedication of his administration to completing the second phase of the Blue Line Rail project and emphasized the importance of an integrated system that will benefit Lagosians in the long term.
The governor expressed gratitude for the collaboration with CCECC and the support of partners in realizing the transformative project. He assured over twenty-two million Lagosians that his promise to address traffic and transportation challenges is fast becoming a reality, with the imminent launch of the Red Line Rail project.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also discussed plans for the 4th Mainland Bridge, confirming that the project will commence shortly.
The governor reaffirmed the commitment of his administration to serving the people and fulfilling his promises.
