A total of 2,029 inbound visitors entered China through visa-free channels on the first day of China’s new visa-free policy.
On December 1, China implemented a 15-day visa-free policy for nationals from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Malaysia.
There was a 12.54% increase in the number of inbound international visitors from these six countries compared to the previous day.
Airports in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong Province, and Yunnan Province all welcomed passengers from the six visa-exempt countries.
